On October 13th, Little Sleepies announced they were recalling bibs and loveys purchased between Feb. 23, 2021 and Sept. 6th, 2023.
The recall was due to a report of the care tag becoming detached. There were no injuries reported in connection to these products or the defect. You can read their statement below:
Little Sleepies strives to provide families with the highest quality products, designed with craftsmanship and community at the heart of everything we do. With that, the health and safety of our customers and their little ones are of the utmost importance.
We have received feedback that the care instruction labels connected to the Sleepyhead Lovey and Bandana Bib products can become detached. While we are not aware of any reports of injuries, out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to undertake a voluntary recall in partnership with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), of all Sleepyhead Lovies & Bandana Bibs purchased between February 23, 2021 and September 6, 2023.
You are receiving this email because our records indicate you have purchased the potentially affected product(s).
You should immediately remove the care instruction label to eliminate the potential hazard. Once the care instruction label is removed, you can resume use of the products, which we continue to recommend be used under adult supervision. If you do not wish to remove the care instruction label, you may return your Sleepyhead Lovey and/or Bandana Bib to us with the care instruction label intact, using a prepaid shipping label, for a refund.
